Dimensional inspection of large components using a measuring arm or optical scanner

For large components, we can conduct dimensional measurements in our laboratory using both contact instruments and optical or laser instruments, by means of measuring arms, structured light scanners and laser trackers.

The industrial sectors which typically use this service are engineering (frames and structural elements for machines), oil & gas (valves, meters and pipes) and energy (turbomachinery and power transmissions elements).

Inspections can be carried out both by measuring design dimensions and by means of a colour map for comparison with the CAD model.
